The name’s Sahra. 23 year old city dweller with a plethora of tagline’s that go along with my name; model, actress, party go-er, Independent Fashion Blogger, fashion merchandiser, founder and coordinator of the NYC Fashion Bloggers MeetUp Group, etc. My current full time job: managing a boutique in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, as well as writing for FemInspire.com and this blog.
Currently located in the DC/Baltimore metropolitan area, I formerly lived in New York City by way of suburban Massachusetts. I’m unsure of where I’m going at present; taking it day by day, working my a** off and gaining as much experience in the fashion world while trying out as many different positions as I can. I’m young and already have so much experience under my belt, so no telling what the future will hold!
I’m here to share my fashion finds, preferences, and ideas with you. I like a vast range of styles from Chanel and high end couture to Doc Marten’s, grunge and punk. I review designer’s and new lines, as well as sharing my favorite trends for the upcoming seasons. Mostly, though, I like to put together outfits that I think look good and then share them with you, for review, opinions, inspiration, critique; whatever you take it as.
I have plenty of experience in the fashion industry. I’d share everything with you all, but I don’t want to run the risk of this coming off as an internet resume. I’ve worked, however, for a variety of brands from children’s wear to surf apparel; women’s high end shoes to couture apparel, a high end department store, two different showrooms, and a buying office (WOAH).
Things I like outside of fashion include tattoos, alcohol, parties, literature, philosophy, and my cat, Maven, who thinks he’s a dog.
