It’s a Lonely Road Where the Forgotten Go

where your misery finds its company.
It’s a long way down to the sacred ground
where the reaper’s playing for keeps

Spring is officially in the air…or at least the hints of it. It’s a weird time of year, this transitional season. You’re like, so over layers of tights and wool socks, thick sweaters and Uggs (#sorrynotsorry for what I wore when I was cold) yet the temps aren’t quite that warm yet that you can go bare-legs. It doesn’t help that in a mere three days I will be basking in the 90 degree African sun. I’m getting by on cozy light-weight sweaters and jeans (no HeatTech tights underneath) and breaking in my cozy new sandals. Casual, yet cool (or at least trying to be).

How are you dressing for these temps?

  1. Unfortunately, it’s not quite warm enough here for that type of outfit 😦 I can’t wait until it will be though – I see it now, destroyed boyfriend jeans, tees with just a light cardigan over, cute sneakers – I need the warm weather! You look stunning, by the way, thanks for sharing 🙂

  2. Love the DIY jeans…very cool! Also, why are you headed to Africa? I read back a few posts but couldn’t find it!

  3. Love the top and the jeans! They are amazing. So stunning. I also love that blue bag. I think I saw one from a retail fashion accessories shop. Anyway, keep it up!
