Why You Should Be Following Me On Social Media

You mean to tell me, that you’re here, at my blog….and you’re not following me on social media?OH MAN are you missing out!

For 1; Social media is where the blogging’s happening now. Instant-gratification in the membrane, baby! Here’s why you should be following me on your phone and not on your email/blog roll/etc.

Everyday on Twitter I share a #QSSPickOfTheDay ; a fun shopping item I think we all need in our lives. Somedays it’s my favorite beauty product of the moment, somedays it’s a covetable Gianvitto Rossi jacket…Tuesdays its shoes, because, well #shoesdaytuesday.
ALSO I get pretty funny around my “time of the month”; I’m talking rock star quips about life, my boyfriend, and my road to becoming anti-social. It’s pretty great. At least in my opinion.
I also participate in Twitter chats so if there’s some vital information about blogging or fashion I think the world should know, I’ll retweet it or share it with you!

So, you like my style, eh? My InstaGram is where you should be following. I try to post my daily outfits (only the cool ones- I promise), as well as foodporn and house’grams. Basically, the images you’d see on the blog but, like, just without a webpage. 21st Century style.

Follow me on SnapChat if you like my FACE! But no, really. Here’s where I post some pretty mundane stuff like trying out the new face-filter of the day, prepping those meals for their perfect foodporn instagram close ups, my meals at restaurants, and driving through some cool cities. Don’t worry, I rarely am a talking SnapChatter. I promise you poor souls won’t be subjected to my annoying voice or loud concert music (the mute button is a favorite).

Pinterest is not so much for the ME ME ME but more of a place where I store my inspirations. It’s a well organized place for seasonal sartorial style, festive hosting ideas, home décor, and more. I also cross post from my blog every so often, but mostly it’s just re-pinned images of things I find beautiful.

July in an Instant

Woah My, Oh My! What a month! July began with Z and I signing on our house, just days before celebrating the Nation’s Independence Day, which I love more and more every year I get to spend it in this great city that is the Capitol! After celebrations died down came the daunting and [seemingly] neverending renovations, packing, and moving that filled our month to brim and left both of us (mostly me) in tears more than once, all while managing our work schedules and house drama. Thankfully, July has ended on such a great note. I’m currently wrapping up a weeklong vacation with Z and his extended family, boasting a tan (at last), and couldn’t be happier. Other memorable moments: flying to Boston one day, then driving a truck 11 hours to DC in flash floods the next day, taking my first Segway tour of DC, spending tons on outlet shopping and thrifting alike, trying new foods (as per usual) and spending quality time with the two men in my life, Z and Maven.

While August will bring me back to the tasks of unpacking and minor house fixes, I have three weeks of the real world then it’s back to the sandy coast I go. CAN’T WAIT. How was your July? Do you dears have anything exciting planned to round out the end of your season?

June in an Instant

June feels like 3 months rolled into one, at least for me. Zander and I started the month ready to finalize a location to buy (we did, we sign tomorrow!!!). I spent time in NYC, a full 7 hours that felt like 3 days. It housed as many appointments as should have been for days, but ya know, I rushed myself and packed my schedule, all to bring you all multiple amazing posts without having to miss a night in my own bed.
June held the normal brunches, days of styling, blogging, and merchandising. Meetings galore (so many fun things in the works!), as well as the addition of SO MANY HOME DECOR, from new posts on the blog to magazines and catalogs cluttering my pre-existing glossy hoarding problem.
June….it was a good month for me. How was your june!?

Insta’d April

April is gone; is it okay to say at last? It felt like it dragged; what with a wintery spring, a million projects on my plate, meetings a-plenty, blogging events, and a bit of family time, it was just too long. I’m ready to turn over a new leaf and welcome May with open arms.

Remember when month seemed to fly by in a flash? March was not one of those months; so much happened, it feels like THREE months rolled into one! Insta-December

Well WOWEE. December flew by in a blur! I spent much of my time with family in New England, and much of my time at work, and the rest of my time indulging in food, drink, and birthday and holiday festivities! I had such a WONDERFUL month and was fully spoiled for my birthday and Christmas, and so lucky with all that I was able to spend it with.

November in an Instant

November is over!? I can’t believe it. This month has been full of keeping busy, planning for the future, and spending quality time with all those who are important to me! This month has definitely been on of reflection, which makes sense as a year of my life is coming to a close.
So it’s December now; my birthday month and a month of holidays as well! And, my boyfriends birthday! Needless to say, it will be a busy time! I’m planning to continue to grow in my relationships and career, but also have some amazing things planned for YOU READERS; did someone say GIVEAWAYS!?
