Hello All! Sorry that this is, like, a week late, but here’s what I wore on New Year’s! This dress has an interesting story; I found it at a lovely little boutique while in Saratoga Springs, NY called Piper. But at $94 it was out of my budget fashionista’s price range. I was disheartened, but flash forward three months as I’m on my mother’s couch scoping out a local boutique’s post-Christmas 50% off sale and what do I find? The Jack by BB Dakota beauty for a mere $40. I grabbed my layers and bolted to Calico in New Bedford and snagged that beauty up! It clearly was fate, as I eventually found the dreamy dress, which fits like a glove at a price even I can afford!
So I wore my new dress for the New Year’s celebration, paired with mixed metals and sky high wedges. I hung out with as many of my closest friends as possible, so I was in great company as I kicked butt at Cards Against Humanity before kissing my beau, and BFF, at midnight!

Now, just add in these PERFECT tropical print jeans and the white oxfords and I’ve got quite a cozy and chic look for summer, dontcha think!? Also, why have I never had Joe’s Jeans before!? THEY ARE SO COMFY!

Back to my punk roots with this look! I love my versatility with my style; one day I can flip my hair and nose ring to wear more conservative styles, then there’s days like this where I punk it all out and let the septum ring fly and rock out to my pop-punk tunes. I love my tattoos, and I love that I can be two different people for different occasions. Anyone else out there like me? Aesthetic two-faces, with multiple styles?

Sporty and Flirty and Thriving

Greetings from my new home of Baltimore, Maryland! I’ve officially been here a week and what a whirlwind it has been! I’ve started my new job, unpacked my home, ventured to the nation’s capital city, and so much more! It’s gone by quickly and the warm weather has only added to my “new locale” pleasure and excitement.

The Reason I Hold On is Because I Need This Hole Gone

This song; every time it comes on the radio I need to blast it and sing along, heartfelt and out of key. There’s no one out of my life that I wish had stayed, yet I’m completely smitten with today’s song of the day. Not to mention this perfect, bold and bright hued skirt for Spring form the Prabal Gurung for Target Collaboration. Seriously, one of my favorite Target collabs ever; my only regret is not getting the black paneled dress and any of the shoes. I figured it’d go perfectly, and in breezy seasonably, with this vintage crop top (I got it from Express a million years ago, that counts as vintage, right!?) and added a little future with the holographic clutch. And who would I be without a little leather? The only thing I’m missing is some glam jewels. As I grow older I find my styles change and mature; long gone are the days are bright costume jewelry, welcome to the days of timeless and priceless pieces with the REAL glam flare of glitz and glamour.

I’m Just A Bad Girl, That’s Why We Get Along

Watch out honey, step backIt’s been grey in New England for over a week straight; what even is the sun anymore? I’ve been trying to beat the blues (why don’t we call them greys again?) by being all around productive, but that means shooting in my yellow tinge apartment or in the freezing cold. Today I went a little different and utilized my bathtub because, why not? In addition to lacking Vitamin D, it appears I’m slacking on my iron supplements, aka: don’t mind my hideous bruises that I don’t even have the slightest clue of where they came from.

Todays song of the day puts me in a fun, Gatsby-mood, though the lyrics add the scandal and power, and it’s sucha a great track. How’s everyone liking the tunage per post!? What’s your thoughts on today’s?

I’ve definitely been toying with the 90’s grunge comeback with this look; I’ve had this shimmery dress FOREVER but have always had difficulty styling it, but I think I’ve nailed it here. The 90’s would be proud. I’ve also been doing this thing where I attach/embed the music that inspired the title of each blog post, do you guys like that? My Darling I’m Taking My Life Back to Start Healing

If you haven’t caught on by now I’m quite a fan of the whole neon trend; more specifically the lime-ade hue. This caged back dress was the perfect addition to my closet, even if it’s a size too big. It has the perfect subtle hints of playfulness and sexiness.
