My last night in NYC for two weeks and I spent it with some of my closest friends drinking margaritas and chatting about summer adventures. My last day I spent procrastinating some packing, grabbing lunch with some friends, then off to my favorite neighborhood thrift store, Atlantis Attic.

Sunday I met up with a few of my NYC Fashion Blogger friends to hit up the famed Williamsburg, Brooklyn Flea Market. It was however, my third week in a row there, so I just perused my favorite booths and added my two cents into the other girls’ purchases and potentials. We lounged around for a bit on the gorgeous waterfront which is coincidentally my second favorite view in all of New York City.
As fashion bloggers, we took a substantial amount of pictures of each other, so the images all link back to each blogger’s blog!
After walking around followed by relaxing, we headed to a late brunch down Bedford Ave at an amazing french restaurant. We all had some sort of delicious plate, and then were surprised by a dessert tasting! My favorite is the creme brulee, though the chocolate mousse was decadently rich like a thick fudge and the seasoned fruit cake melted in your mouth.

Friday night I was invited to attend the in-store launch for DC brand House of Versatile Style.
This gorgeous little boutique located right in the sweet and serene Clinton Hill, Brooklyn carries a number of lines and has no just began carrying HVS (House of Versatile Style). The event itself was a blast; a small intimate group of fashion and beauty bloggers, including my dear Monroe, with delectable sangria and cupcakes in a range of flavors. The designs being sold by HVS are a curation of the past couple of season’s lines, but still just as fashionable with shiny, sparkly, tribal, and versatile pieces. The store will also be carrying some HVS jewelry which is just as flashy and are great statement pieces.

It’s sunny, for the first time in DAYS. It’s Spring.
I recently reclaimed my yellow pants from my parents’ home last weekend and have been itching to wear them, and yesterday just felt like the right day at last. With the sun shining, sunglasses on, and a comfortable, relaxed “it’s finally Thursday” air it was the perfect ensemble.
