Memorial Day has come and gone, the start of Summer has arrived with barbecues and bonfires. I spent mine at work (oh, #retaillife) but thankfully barbecued post-work with Z’s family. Fresh grilled veggies are about to be my JAM. Along with changing up the diet to more fresh produce, I’ve made the switch from red to white wine, whiskey to fresh gin. My parents brought some lemonade shandy (Narragansett’s Dell’s Shandy, for any New Englanders) and it is SO GOOD. Perfectly light for afternoon sipping, and it tastes like my childhood summers, but all grown up.
