Casual adventures and errands on the first sunny day (and a Saturday to boot!) in what feels like weeks! Went on a walk with family, friends, and furs, then a dinner lunch and flower shopping! A splendid day out, if I may say so myself.

A little day-to-evening post for you guys! I wore this dress (gifted by Hype Style) to the mall with my favored moto boots and jacket. Also, click here to check out the things I bought!
After linking up with my friend, we took a walk back to her place where, over a lovely glass of port, decided we would get ALL dolled up and go to the local gay bar for a Karaoke night. and when I say ALL dolled up, I truly mean it! Dark lips, high heels, and even wigs!
I finished off my night by getting a new tattoo; one I’ve wanted for YEARS; a quote from Shakespeare’s Hamlet that goes ” When Sorrows come, they come not single spies but in battalions”. I got it at a perfect time in my life as well, considering the last two weeks, and the last year of my life; so many hospitals and literal traumas. When things go bad, many things go bad.
March 8th and we had our first real taste of spring. With the temperature at 67 degrees I was able to ditch my over-worn denim for a skirt and tank top; finally!
I spent the day enjoying some alone time driving WITHOUT music; I rarely do that and I got so lost in thought I’d even forget that there was no noise, just me and my thoughts !Had a lovely meeting at a tattoo shop, then hung out with a friend, getting drunk of Butterscotch Pinnacle before bars and eventually, into dreamland and sleep.
March first, and here in the NorthEast we’re ringing in the month with a lovely little snowstorm. The roads are horrible, yet during the daylight I decided to brave the weather and go hang with some old friends with some cocktails at Applebee’s and some thrifting.
Found this lovely sequined “Rainbow Fish” cardigan that my friend graciously bought for me <33
This outfit post is about the outfit I wore for my cold travels through the blizzard through central Maine while on my way North for the Thanksgiving holiday, and of course other familial obligations.
Basic leggings, cashmere zipper woven sweater via Eliza, Jessica Simpson moto boots, Grass jacket from Macy’s, and a warm pashmina scarf in red.
Though we’re more than one week into October, and a few weeks into Fall we seem to be having a well appreciated Indian Summer here in NYC, and from what I’ve heard all of the north east.
I spent my Sunday walking around, hitting the Williamsburg Flea Market, some Bedford Ave shops, and then lounging in McCarren Park with a couple of visiting friends. I even picked up some Candy Corn to make it feel more like the realistic fall that it is.

I went home to MA for a few days of relaxation, and relax I did. I lived in my Jesica Simpson combat boots as opposed to heels and jeans instead of dresses and skirts. I was wearing this Wet Seal laced crop top when I put on a flannel (from pacsun) for warmth and realized I looked like I had just walked straight out of 1993…grunge, piercings, colored hair, crop tops….My parents even had some Sunny D for me to drink!
Lat Friday I dragged myself off my couch to go to dinner with a couple blogger friends.I blindly got dressed in a matter of minutes when I realized our reervations were an hour earlier than I originally thought. I think I managed a pretty killer look, don’t you think?
For dinner we went to Cafetasia, this lovely little Thai fusion place right by NYU. Nicole and I opted for frozen daiquiris, hers being pineapple something and mine strawberry banana. Monroe and Nike stayed away from the liquor, but still had delicious drinks(we all shared a bit for tasting purposes). I had a salad, delicious veggie spring rolls cut like sushi, and obviously, rice. I must say, I’m a queen with chopsticks, even when I’m being a goon.
I wore this dress from the 80’s this nice little thrift store around the corner from my apartment. It was only $5! While I feel like I’m going to my 1985 prom, I still love it, especially when I punk it out like I did here with my Jessica Simpson boots,TopShop, Stein and Blye, and Bali bracelets, Peter Grimm hat, and Aldo three finger ring. My bag was also thrifted, from Savers in East Providence, RI. And now, I leave you with a music video.
My last night in NYC for two weeks and I spent it with some of my closest friends drinking margaritas and chatting about summer adventures. My last day I spent procrastinating some packing, grabbing lunch with some friends, then off to my favorite neighborhood thrift store, Atlantis Attic.
