Wishlist for Mexico

It’s booked; the next trip to indulge my wanderlusting bones. The beau and I will be venturing from one capitol city to the next, from DC to DF; ¡VAMOS A CIUDAD DE MEXICO!

So in preparation and to aid in my excitement I’ve prepared a wishlist for what I dream of packing in my suitcase. I’m inspired by airy maxis, chic but functional rompers, and on-trend but relevant accessories.

New In: Presidents Day Shopping

I don’t know what it is, but it seems like every Presidents’ Day I go shopping and score some amazing deals from all the sales! This year was no exception; scored me some Prabal Gurung for Target (possibly my favorite Target collab ever), some indulgent magazines (I can’t wait to see where Joanna Coles brings Cosmopolitan!) and this killer high waisted leather skirt and Hogwarts tee from Savers! The sale at my fave thrift store was too good to be true; the tee was $1.50 and the skirt… TWO DOLLARS. Far too good a deal!

Did you do any sale shopping over the weekend!?20130220-122016.jpg

I’m leaving for Baltimore and Washington DC tomorrow, and it will be a pretty low-key and relaxing trip, but be sure to follow me on my social networks to keep up with all the fun I’m having!

Nylon X StyleCaster X Sebastian

LAst week I had the pleasure of attending a special event with Nylon Magazine, StyleCaster, and Sebastian hair professionals. I brought along my friend Nicole, and it was an amazing night of vodka, fashion, and photo booth photos!

So much fun, and I’m loving my free copy of Nylon and all the great Sebastian sample products!

Lady GaGa at the AMA's in 2009

I initially saw and tried on these Ellie shoes over a year ago while perusing Patricia Field’s Bowery shop. They were $88 of epic teetering perfection. My friend I was with at the time coerced me out of the impulse buy but they had never left my mind. I later found them to be the ones Lady GaGa had worn to the 2009 American Music Awards, which made them even more appealing.

Last week, while doing my normal “sale shopping” I noticed the pumps on sale for half off. WHAT. A. STEAL. It was a done deal. I waited for a few days and finally got them in the mail and was giddy the rest of the night. I wore them around the house to get used to them and have come to the conclusion that these are definitely NOT drinking shoes. Still, I love them and plan on wearing them a bit.

Now, please pardon my appearance and boring outfit. Please focus on the gorgeous beauts of the shoes.

Now, these shoes are epic. There’s a platform, so they’re more comfortable than they look. They’re also on sale for dirt cheap…There’s only a few sizes left so get on over to PatriciaField.com and scoop them up!
