How I’m Subscribed to 12+ Magazines FOR FREE

How to get FREE magazine subscriptions
Ever since I was a young girl, fashion magazines have been my bible. I spent my tween years poring over Seventeen, YM, Girls Life….As I grew into a rebellious, yet still aesthetic-obsessed teenager my tastes grew up into Nylon, Cosmopolitan, TeenVogue. I eventually grew up more, adding on to my reading list Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, W….The magazine’s began piling up and up, my thirst for inspiration and sartorial knowledge never quite quenched.

My boyfriend and I are currently subscribed to 12 monthly works, 2 weekly, and the Washington Post. The magazine subscriptions? FREE.20140226-114401.jpg

I’m sure you’re wondering how. It’s all thanks for RewardSurvey.com. Every other week I spend about 5 minutes, fill out a little survey, and earn $20 in credit to use towards magazine scripts! Magazines they offer range from fashion, weddings, food, business, to men’s interest, philosophy, and even newspapers! I’ve scored W, Glamour, Vogue, Seventeen, Wired, Maxim, and Details through these surveys (just to name a few). They even offer Spanish Language magazines as well, which I’ve refrained from getting to work on my Spanish, and get alternate cultural inspiration.

RewardSurvey also works with Mercury Magazines which helps bring businesses subscriptions to magazines, which includes bloggers and other small business owners! Once signed up for Mercury, they send you offers for free magazines (and USB’s and other business objects) almost weekly! Just have a valid business title and the ‘zines are yours!

Now that the secret is out….will you be joining one of these sites to score FREE magazines!?

Flea Market Finds

As I previously stated, I went to a flea market the other day with a friends grandfather and found some amazing things! Let’s start off with some images of the jewelry found:

And ofcourse, the vintage Vogue I found. It’s dated January 15, 1945. It’s amazing. Enough said.

How great are these outfits? I like the uniformity look and the gloves, ah. Can we bring back classy gloves??

This article just cracked me up…it was about how to get thin, lean legs. and how did you get “thin lean legs” in the 1940’s? “It is important to lie head down, on a board, which is at an angle of 40 degrees, for at least half an hour each day” WHAT?

haha. Figured I’d share. Enjoy! Hopefully I can email this woman and get some more vintage issues!
