Back to my punk roots with this look! I love my versatility with my style; one day I can flip my hair and nose ring to wear more conservative styles, then there’s days like this where I punk it all out and let the septum ring fly and rock out to my pop-punk tunes. This song; every time it comes on the radio I need to blast it and sing along, heartfelt and out of key. There’s no one out of my life that I wish had stayed, yet I’m completely smitten with today’s song of the day. Not to mention this perfect, bold and bright hued skirt for Spring form the Prabal Gurung for Target Collaboration. Seriously, one of my favorite Target collabs ever; my only regret is not getting the black paneled dress and any of the shoes. I figured it’d go perfectly, and in breezy seasonably, with this vintage crop top (I got it from Express a million years ago, that counts as vintage, right!?) and added a little future with the holographic clutch. And who would I be without a little leather? The only thing I’m missing is some glam jewels. As I grow older I find my styles change and mature; long gone are the days are bright costume jewelry, welcome to the days of timeless and priceless pieces with the REAL glam flare of glitz and glamour.

I’ve finally gone out on a mini-shopping spree and purchased some fashionably relevant necessities! For instance, this jacket from the Army/Navy surplus store was only $10, and I’ve worn it literally everyday since I got it! Also, sneaker wedges! Mine are BDG brand and were bought at Urban Outfitters, and again, I’ve worn them everyday since I got them. They’re soooo comfy but after 4 days in wedges even I think I need a break!

This past Sunday I bravely faced my hangover and went to assist on a photoshoot with two long time friends, Greg Easton with model Colleen Leary. It was a ton of fun helping style and being an extra set of eyes and opinion, making sure everything was flawless for the images and helping with posing and locations. This was one of my first times working behind the camera (even if I wasn’t pressing the button) and it’s safe to say it won’t be my last!

It’s True I Crave You

Loving this look I put together for a generic Saturday. Can I just gloat about how fabulous my a$$ looks? BA-donk. Sorry, I’m white and relish every chance I get to feel like I have some junk in the trunk.

Anyway, I’m wearing a new piece of jewelry in my collection! If you haven’t caught on by now, I have a lust for all things aquatic, and this sea horse bracelet is perfect. Eclectic Eccentricity sent it over the Atlantic to me! I love the antiqued gold aesthetic; so rusticly chic. Also, the website offers the bracelet in 3 sizes which means mine is daintily small and perfectly fits my wrist, which is hard to come by in my life thanks to my toddler sized wrists.

Awkward Faces

My brother is my photographer when I’m visiting my parents’. This is good, because he understands composition and exposure and fancy camera stuff like that; he NEVER complains not matter how many times a day I ask him to grab the camera and press the buttons; he’s pretty much the best 15 year old brother a girl could ask for. Also, he snaps a photo pretty much every single SECOND. I mean, this is good since he can catch random more candid shots. Or, you know, he catches all the hideous goofball faces I make in between posing. On this cold, post blizzard day it looks like he captured the most hiedous faces.
