Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend

The winter holidays are in full swing! With that you still may be scratching your head with what to get someone in your life. Well, I’m here to say you can’t go wrong with diamonds (or any other precious stones)!

As you may know, Pantone just released “Emerald” as the color of the year for 2013. May ladies probably already have their share of emeralds, but it’s time for the rest of the world to stock up so they can remain on trend. While jewelry stores carry plenty of the green-hued stone, don’t forget to check thrift stores and costume jewelry to find this one!

Now, another important color for the upcoming seasons is royal blue. An overly saturated epitomical blue in all forms. But since we’re talking jewelry today, I suggest blue diamonds.

Lastly, diamonds. We all know the costume jewelry “diamond and neon” trend right? I love it, but sometimes you need to class things up a smidge more. I’m a gal for Tiffany’s, and the key necklaces are a great gift for any girl (I know I adore and cherish mine). Go for something with personality; Macy’s and Zales carry diamond pendants in an array of shapes (I have a star) to add to the specialty of the gift. Now lets not forget watches; if you’re on a budget, TJ Maxx almost always has an exceptional selection of Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Fossil, and more watches (and other fine jewelries!).

What do you think about these precious stones? too much or just enough?

  1. I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way
of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful
lot of text for only having 1 or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

  2. Not enough precious stones in my opinion. Definitely want more lol. I can’t wait to play with the color Emerald.
