A quick little outfit post; Work has been crazy, trying to keep up with NYFW has been nuts, and preparing for some big projects is more on my plate. Oh, and the omnipresent home updates and planning to get a dog. Coming home at the end of a long day to a glass of wine and my perfect man makes it all worth it; the literal four walls holding up our abode that we’ve been working so hard to make our nest.

Baby, I’ll give you everything you need Grunge/punk looks are one of my go-to facades. It gives me a chance to show off my tattoos, shaved head, and piercings with some flair of personal style. I love that fall brings plaid and cozy flannels into the style-mix, as they’re great for layering when the mornings are chilly and afternoons are sunny and temped.

Hopeless Girls Still Walk

On hot and humid days like we’ve been experiencing, it’s been my motto that less clothes is better. I’m talking free-boobing ladies! Seriously, on hot days there’s nothing better than throwing on a backless dress and some sandals and enjoying a bit of breeze where you normally wouldn’t get one (no, not THERE you sick-os!) I first fell in love with this dress at PacSun just under a year ago, and eventually found it on super sale at their outlet (after pondering it for a solid couple weeks). Ofcourse it’s a mix between two of my favorite colors, black and chartreuse, and the backless details allows for that nice breeze and a fun way to show off a little ink. Back to my punk roots with this look! I love my versatility with my style; one day I can flip my hair and nose ring to wear more conservative styles, then there’s days like this where I punk it all out and let the septum ring fly and rock out to my pop-punk tunes. I’m Just A Bad Girl, That’s Why We Get Along

Watch out honey, step backIt’s been grey in New England for over a week straight; what even is the sun anymore? I’ve been trying to beat the blues (why don’t we call them greys again?) by being all around productive, but that means shooting in my yellow tinge apartment or in the freezing cold. Today I went a little different and utilized my bathtub because, why not? In addition to lacking Vitamin D, it appears I’m slacking on my iron supplements, aka: don’t mind my hideous bruises that I don’t even have the slightest clue of where they came from.

Todays song of the day puts me in a fun, Gatsby-mood, though the lyrics add the scandal and power, and it’s sucha a great track. How’s everyone liking the tunage per post!? What’s your thoughts on today’s?
